Throughout 2023, both Sacred Heart and Blessed Sacrament Catholic Primary Schools engaged in a community consultation process to help plan for their future. Announcements about the school leadership and how both schools will work more closely together were made at a Town Hall meeting on August 15th and are summarised in a letter to parents here.
Collaboration will be a defining feature of the future for Sacred Heart and Blessed Sacrament. It’s not about making the schools the same, but about sharing resources and expertise where it makes sense.
A new leadership model (see below) establishes some shared leadership roles between the schools to facilitate collaboration and provide additional senior specialist resources. This innovative model enables us to deliver more opportunities for our students and additional support for our staff.
